India holds a special place in the story of Wings Outreach. It’s where our founder, Julie Roberts, first began serving vulnerable children—responding to the deep needs for education, safe housing, and the hope of Christ. In communities where poverty, abandonment, and limited opportunities threaten the future of many children, we are building a foundation for lasting change.
Our Work in India
Grandma’s House
A safe and loving home for boys who have nowhere else to go. Here they receive:
- Shelter and a caring environment.
- Quality education and school uniforms.
- Nutritious meals and clean water.
- Discipleship and spiritual guidance.
Auntie’s House (In Progress)
A new orphanage for girls—currently under development—to ensure that young girls also have a safe place to grow, learn, and dream without fear.
The Lighthouse Project
We work alongside dedicated leaders like Deva and Saritha, who have served faithfully in their community for over 12 years. Their commitment, combined with the support of our donors and volunteers, ensures that every project is both culturally rooted and sustainable.
